HI, my name is Aylia and I run FoxFitness out of Blackheath, London.
I am not your average personal trainer for the following reasons:
Firstly, I’m more mature than most and had a previous 20 year career as a journalist on national newspapers, TV and as a local newspaper Editor before I re-trained as a PT in my 40’s. My job took me around the world and I mixed with people from all walks of life. I feel this has given me a level of life experience which is a real asset when dealing with clients’ hopes, fears, ambitions and expectations.
It now brings me immense pleasure to help people realise what it took me years to realise – that one of the most effective ways to feel good about yourself and life itself is to get fit, keep fit, control your weight and eat healthily. I do not advocate diets though and believe you should definitely indulge and enjoy yourself on a fairly regular basis.
Secondly: I have compiled an exclusive workout method called CardioConversion. What this means (in simple terms) is that you do cardio and resistance exercises AT THE SAME TIME in order to achieve double the results in half the time (assuming you work hard). It will depend on your health and fitness status as to whether you do these exercises at high or low intensity and for how long.
Thirdly: unlike many personal trainers who claim to give clients bespoke workout and nutritional programmes, I actually do! So, for every workout you do with me, I will have written a new programme for you, probably the night before. And any eating plan I give you will be based on a long consultation about your eating habits and a week long food diary.
I firmly believe in all areas of life – particularly personal training – one size does not fit all.
