For several years now I have been very passionate about health and fitness and it is this passion which has driven me to pursue a career as a personal trainer.
Being a personal trainer is much more than just loving the gym, it is about motivation, determination and discipline. It is staying positive, never giving up and encouraging people to push past their boundaries and to work to their limits to achieve optimum results.
It is about picking people up and motivating them to have a more positive outlook. I would not feel comfortable if I worked in an office or worked a regular 9-5 job as I would find it hard to be enthusiastic and to progress in a field which I did not enjoy.
I believe working in health and fitness brings out my greatest attributes and it is these attributes I wish to motivate others to also have in relation to their health.
I have always strived to be the best I can be when it comes to fitness. In the past football was a massive part of my life. I am an avid Crystal Palace fan and as well as attending the occasional match, I practiced my skills nearly every day regardless of what other people thought. Recently I turned to bodybuilding and put both my mind and my body through their toughest regime to date. This resulted in becoming UKBFF Kent klassic Lightweight Champion 2012 so it was worth the months of hard work and discipline.
I have by no means lost my personal motivation to keep fit and healthy.I am still a regular gym go-er in my spare time and I like to keep active. However my main focus now is to use my knowledge and experience to help make people happy, to improve their lifestyle and to achieve their goals.
Bens Health & Fitness aims are:
