Having been blessed with the obesity gene at birth I spent decades (and £££££s) learning how to decode my metabolism to persuade my hormones and the rest of Team DNA to keep me a reasonable size and shape. It was not easy to do but a rather elegant process that guided me to make smart choices as opposed to working too hard.
I now teach my clients how to also become metabolic detectives to achieve their weight loss and fitness goals quickly and effectively while also freeing themselves from the drudgery of dieting and senseless workouts.
I like to keep things simple. My clients like it when I make something amazingly complicated simple but effective. It is a win win scenario.
As well as having a wealth of experience in fitness I have a strong background in psychology and holistic therapies. This allows me to help you discover your winning mindset and be inspired to transform into the healthiest, happiest and most fabulous versions of yourself. At times this looks a lot like cutting through BS but in the end it changes people’s perception of what it takes to honour their bodies.
What is my background in fitness?
I have been studying different styles of martial arts over a 35 year span so you can be assured that at the very least I can help you get fighting fit. I was also a competitive gymnast for many years, a dancer, a choreographer, a body builder, an equestrian, a pole fitness instructor, a hula hooping enthusiast, a Parkour student and now an Animal Flowist.
What does this mean to you? It means that I can show you how to train your body to move in the best way possible so that you will be able to enjoy all the activities that you love and also so that you can also remain defiant in the face of the aging process.
I work as a mobile trainer having become the Master at helping people get super fit in small rooms. Or I have access to a private fitness studio in a secluded location in Essex (CM3 area).
