Once my son started school in 2008 I decided that I was not going back to my previous employment in administration. I had been going to the gym in order to keep reasonably fit, loved doing so and realised that this could be a new career.
After my initial training I started work with Camden Council on their GP Exercise Referral Programme. I have gained huge amounts of gratification from seeing the difference I have made to many peoples lives by encouraging them to exercise regularly and to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Over the years I gained further qualifications, including Personal Trainer and Advanced Fitness Instructor. More recently I gained a further qualification, BACPR. This allows me to coach people who are recovering from heart attacks and other Cardiac issues.
I have had personal clients for the last six years. I find that I enjoy the space that one-to-one tuition gives me to focus on the needs of an individual.
One of the barriers that many people find hard to overcome, especially when starting to exercise at a mature age, is doing so in a public gym or the park. Having a Personal Trainer visit you at your home overcomes these issues, except that many people do not have the space to have a range of good quality equipment for these sessions.
When you visit me, you will receive my undivided attention, in a well-equipped gym without any on-lookers!
