Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Johnathan and here is a little about myself.
I am an ex-professional rugby player, sports coach and new father! I have worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years and been involved in high level sport for 20 years. I worked in the JR Hospital, Oxford in cardiac rehabilitation and GP referral before travelling abroad playing professional rugby.
I have had a very wide experience in the fitness industry, all over the world from lecturing sports science to planning pre-season training sessions and rehabilitating open heart surgery patients.
Fitness, and more importantly health is a very individual thing so has to be approached in that way. What you put into your body, how much you sleep and your stress levels are all just as important, if not more so than the training sessions you do. For me the starting point has to be nutrition. There is so much conflicting information, but with some sound nutritional advice and some good habits you can make enormous strides towards a healthier lifestyle.
