Hi I’m Nicci! I started practicing yoga in 2002 as a means to keep fit and stay active. I quickly discovered that not only did it bring me the physical benefits of strength and flexibility, but it also gave me more energy and a great sense of emotional wellbeing. I have practiced various styles of yoga over the years including Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa before completing my 200hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher training. I believe yoga is a life changing discipline and I want to share my love and knowledge of yoga with others, so they too can experience it in their everyday lives. My other passion is knitting! (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!) Like yoga It is extremely therapeutic and meditative. It offers the perfect training ground for cultivating a mental state that is less distracted, more present, and peaceful. I love the rhythmic sound of the needles working the same stitch over and over again, calming the heart rate and breathing, which creates a real sense of stability and inner quiet. My Vinyasa Yoga classes link movement with the breath and are suitable for both beginner students and students who already have some yoga experience. I offer 1-2-1 private classes and small group classes (max 4 pers) Whether students come to my classes solely for the physical practice or whether they come to progress on their yoga journey, I will guide them through fun sequences which will build strength, improve flexibility, breathing and balance and will increase energy and vitality.
