I have taken part in various sports my entire life but my greatest passion is rugby. I have played and coached rugby union for the last 12 years at club, county and university level and I now Captain the Women’s 1st team at York RUFC. During that time I have gained a wealth of experience training 1-2-1 and groups, managing fitness expectations and setting and achieving specific fitness goals.
I can offer bespoke training programmes to individuals of all backgrounds with a range of goals from beginners training for weight loss and toning to strength and conditioning for athletes looking for something to give them an edge against the competition. Having also suffered two severe lower back injuries I can offer support during rehabilitation and training to prevent such injuries occuring again.
I believe in empowering clients so they can take charge of their own wellbeing. I can provide structured and progressive training that is enjoyable and accessible to all levels of ability – after all, if it wasn’t fun you wouldn’t do it!
