Ryan’s medical and military background, as well as a personal interest in sports and outdoors pursuits, have given him a firm knowledge base to help his clients improve their own health, fitness and achieve their personal goals. Ryan has an impressive proven track record with over 20 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry and has developed an international client base over a broad range of health and fitness disciplines, all of whom benefit from his results driven training programmes and techniques.
As the founding member, and Head Trainer, of Eximius Fitness Ltd Ryan specialises in bespoke individual personal training programmes, group fitness classes, medical exercise referrals and rehabilitation. Ryan has a particular interest in cardiovascular fitness, fat loss and body composition and is a full member of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMPSA).
Ryan studied medicine at the University of Leeds where he gained a keen interest in anatomy, physiology, behavioural sciences and nutrition. He qualified as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and continues to use his medical skills working with a number of healthcare organisations including the Asthma Specialist Team at the Royal Free Hospital, London.
Having served in the British Army, Ryan is a qualified British Military Fitness Instructor and continues to teach military fitness. He has received a commendation from West Yorkshire Police’s Force Medical Officer for his work with the Occupational Health Unit. Ryan is an ASICS Community Space Partner and is proud to be sponsored by award winning sports nutrition brand, Bio-Synergy.

Ryan is the founder Eximius Fitness Ltd and in his role of Head Trainer leads a team of ultra-experienced and dedicated Trainers and coaching staff. Eximius Fitness currently has clients and fitness programmes in 4 countries ranging from Europe, to the Middle East and the USA.
